According to Spectrum Organics, chia seeds also have a higher antioxidant level than blueberries! Woot.
I didn’t use banana only because I didn’t have any. Chia seeds gel up like flax seeds though so the texture was fine.

A confession that I ought to make is that I cheated on Tuesday. It’s true. But, it’s not totally my fault: a friend and I were supposed to go to the beach but the weather didn’t hold so we got coffee and went to Flying Apron, a vegan and gluten free cafe. She’s GF and I like to try to be vegan most of the time, so it was a fun little adventure. But, other than that, I haven’t bought a thing for the kitchen (except for some wine, but that doesn’t really count, right?). I love this challenge!
